Peaches are a fruit made in heaven; I am completely convinced of it. When the peaches are ripe Peach Kuchen becomes a highly requested dessert at our home. Peach Kuchen has been a family favorite, on my husbands side of the family, for decades. A delicious dessert with crumbly crust and creamy topping, connected through juicy fresh peachy goodness.
Peaches are a fruit that tastes like it came straight from heaven.
One of the things I look forward to in the month of September is seeing the pick-up trucks parked by the side of the road, advertising and selling boxes of peaches. So yum! Peaches are such a smooth and delicious fruit; these fresh fruit boxes are welcomed with open arms at our house.
The word 'Kuchen' is German for 'Cake'
('Taart' in Dutch)
