I have been having fun using your pattern and making Christmas presents.
I now tack the drawstring on both sides so it can't pull through.
I love the pattern because with different fabrics and trims it becomes a different bag!
I am hoping you continue designing bags!

Thank you for sharing your creative ideas! :) . I really liked the chalkpaint recipe, and I did end up whipping up a batch and using it! I've attached a picture below! :) Thanks again. It's amazing the cool stuff you can find on blogs. It's just so nice to see people sharing their positive, inspiring ideas. It's so generous.
As for what I make, well... I make a little bit of everything: https://www.facebook.com/joymdm1/photos_albums
I used to run a facebook artist page where I made and sold handmade items, but I'm going to open a blog/website because in all honesty, there can be way too much drama on facebook, haha!
Oh, and here is the chair, I've attached a picture.
Thank you again! You are awesome :)

Erin
Erin sewed this Union Jack bag for her UK friend, using the free Ronda handbag pattern. Isn't is so fab?
This is what she wrote:
I just wanted to let you know that I recently found your site and LOVE that you have these free patterns. I love to sew, and handbags are my favorite. They are a great way to give personalized gifts. I am a teacher, and my school participated in a teacher exchange program and had a visiting teacher from the UK this year. At the end of the year, I made her a Ronda handbag with the Union Jack on the front. The blue material is from a wool coat I found at a thrift shop (for $1!), the white is a canvas, and the red is extra quilter's cotton I had sitting around. I was able to finish this handbag in just a few hours (with several interruptions) and that included putting in a zippered pocket! I had never done one before, but your step-by-step tutorial made it easy.
Thank you so much and I hope you enjoy my version of the Ronda handbag!

The lovely purse displayed below was sewn by the hands of L.J. S.
I love her handles, made from old jeans!
This is what she wrote:
Hi Crystelle~~~
I just wanted to show you my finished project.....I used old denim jeans for my handles so they would be sturdy ( I wasn't sure HOW to do the handles using selvedges).....I also just used fabric strips for the cording to go thru, I have small totes of various size strips already cut certain widths, and since I really like red, I chose some red ones....the inside of my bag is the unfaded parts of old red calico curtains....talk about using what you have!!! I am not happy with the cording I bought, it is too thick, I wasn't sure what thickness to get, so I will replace it, next trip to town.
